About SFI Designs
SFI Designs, a corporation founded in 2006, was originally formed as a product development company and quickly grew to be a full time metal fabrication shop. SFI Designs has a broad spectrum of experience in designing, developing, and welding, with the ability to create products or customize items to fit the consumer’s needs. Our talents include, but are not limited to, off road customizations, trailer maintenance and upgrades, and small steel structures. SFI also has its own line of products geared towards RV owners and off-road enthusiasts. SFI is located in San Diego's East County.

About the Founder
SFI Designs founder, Sean Statkus’ passion is custom fabrication and product development.
He has been an avid enthusiast of the off-road industry for over 15 years. His interest started young in life and fueled his desire to learn how to build and maintain on- and off-road vehicles.
After completing his service in the United States Navy, Sean spent eight years with a low-bed trucking company. In that time, Sean was able to refine his welding and structural engineering skills. Sean furthered his experience as a pit member of an off road race team. Driver safety and the roll cages were a primary focus.
As the owner of a successful business, since 2001, Sean understands the importance of honesty, integrity, and reliability. The quality of his work, coupled with his ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations has earned him a large clientele based solely on word-of-mouth referrals and repeat customers.
Sean has the natural ability to see a need and create a solution by taking an idea and turning it into functional and cost effective items.
